Streamline Athletes Inc. (“Streamline Athletes”) is committed to the protection and confidentiality of any and all personal information we collect. In this policy, “Personal Information” is information about an identifiable individual or information that permits an individual to be identified and which is collected by Streamline Athletes through the use of our platform (“Service”), including streamlineathletes.com (the “Website”).

Depending on how you interact with Streamline Athletes, we may collect such Personal Information as your first and last name, postal and email addresses, telephone number(s), social network data, information concerning your social circumstances, including age, date of birth, education/qualification information, sex, athletic performance data, health/Injury status, social media handles, languages spoken, personal coach name and contact information, parental/guardian name and contact information, financial budget, personal highlights, and other Personal Information. We may also collect certain technical information about your use of our Website, including your IP address, which browser you use, access times, pages viewed, and the referring link through which you accessed our Website. If you choose to purchase any service from us, we or our third party payment processor will collect your payment information. Streamline Athletes does not and will never store or process your payment information; it is stored and is processed by our third party payment processor.

Technologies such as cookies, beacons, tags and scripts, which are identifying technologies that your computer receives when you visit certain websites are used by Streamline Athletes. We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, and to administer our website. Your IP address is used to help identify you for the purposes of gathering broad demographic information. We also use Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Optimize. Some or all of these tools may be used to track information about your behaviour on our Website depending on your region.

How we collect, use, and disclose Personal Information

We collect only the Personal Information we need for purposes that we have specified. We do not collect or retain Personal Information indiscriminately.

Typically, Streamline Athletes collects Personal Information that is voluntarily provided by an individual. From time to time, we may legally collect Personal Information from other sources, such as third party athletics results websites. If the purpose for collecting Personal Information is ever unclear, you are welcome to contact us at support@streamlineathletes.com to request clarification. If required by applicable law, we will seek your explicit consent to process your Personal Information. Providing such consent is entirely voluntary. If you choose not to provide such consent, however, you may not be permitted to continue to use or access some or all of Streamline Athletes’ Service(s) and/or Website.

The purpose for collecting Personal Information about athletics club staff (such as coaches, board members, and other key contacts) and parents/guardians is to establish and support our contractual and/or other business relationships.

The purpose for collecting Personal Information about student-athletes is primarily to facilitate the provision of university sport recruitment services online, and to maintain effective communication among those involved in the recruitment processes.

We may also use your Personal Information to:

• Respond to your comments, questions, and requests, and to provide customer service;
• Communicate with you about services, offers and promotions and provide news and information we think will be of interest to you;
• Manage your account and send you technical notices, updates, security alerts and support and administrative messages;
• Monitor and analyze trends, usage and activities;
• Link or combine with information we get from others to help understand your needs and provide you with better service; and
• Carry out any other purpose for which the information was collected.

As appropriate, Streamline Athletes will request explicit consent to collect, use and disclose Personal Information. This request may be written or oral. In some instances, consent can be implied through an individual relationship or conduct with us, depending on the sensitivity of the information.

Personal Information provided to us is confidential; we do not disclose Personal Information to any third party except with actual or implied consent, or as permitted or required by law. We do not exchange or sell Personal Information.

Personal Information relevant to recruiting decisions, including academic and athletic information, may be disclosed to coaches and their recruiting staff at universities or colleges that you have expressed interest in attending or that have expressed interest in recruiting you.

We may also share your Personal Information under the following circumstances:

• such information is required for advisors, mentors, consultants, and other service providers, such as legal and financial service providers, to carry out work on behalf of Streamline Athletes;
• we determine that disclosure of such information is required in response to a request for information from a court, law enforcement, or other government agency or department, or is required or in accordance with any applicable law
• we believe your actions are inconsistent with our User Terms, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of us or any third party;
• sharing is relative to, or during negotiations of, any financing, merger, sale of corporation assets, or transfer of all or a portion of our business to another entity; and
• any other occasion with your consent and/or as per your request.

With your consent, we may use your Personal Information to send you communications material for the purposes of support, marketing, or other communications in relation to Streamline Athletes’ business activities, our Service, and/or our Website. You may opt out or unsubscribe from receiving commercial email communications from Streamline Athletes at any time - we include unsubscribe instructions and/or unsubscribe links in any commercial email we send to you. Alternatively, you may opt-out or unsubscribe by sending a request to do so to support@streamlineathletes.com. Please note that we may take up to ten (10) business days to process your request to opt out or unsubscribe from commercial email communications. In the event you opt out or unsubscribe from commercial email communications, you will continue to receive administrative, support, and other email from us that is essential to the Service and is sent to the email address you used to sign up for your Streamline Athletes account.

We may display personal testimonials and other endorsements on our Website. With your consent, we may post your testimonial along with your name. You may update or delete your testimonial by contacting us at support@streamlineathletes.com.

Your Personal Information may be transferred to, processed by, and/or stored with third party service providers across borders from your country or jurisdiction to other countries or jurisdictions around the world. Streamline Athletes handles Personal Information as a “Processor” and as a “Controller”, as defined in the GDPR. However, where you have voluntarily provided personal information with respect to the creation of a user account, you will be the Controller and Streamline Athletes will be the Processor.

All data collected by Streamline Athletes will be stored exclusively in secure hosting facilities provided by Amazon Web Services. Streamline Athletes has a data processing agreement in place with this provider, ensuring compliance with the GDPR. All hosting is performed in accordance with the highest security regulations. All transfers of data internally in the EEA is done in accordance with this data processing agreement.

Protecting your Personal Information

Streamline Athletes is committed to protecting your Personal Information. We strive to prevent accidental, unauthorized or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, disclosure, access, use or processing of Personal Information with the following technical and non-technical security safeguards:

• restricted access to files containing Personal Information;

• (Amazon Web Services) firewalls;
• internal passwords;

Please note, however, that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security of your Personal Information. Streamline Athletes will promptly notify individuals in the event of any known unauthorized access to or use of that individual’s Personal Information.

Retention and deletion

Streamline Athletes will not retain data longer than is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or as required by applicable laws. For certain data pertaining to a User account registered to the Website, you have control over the Personal Information collected and the duration for which your Personal Information is kept. Users of Streamline Athletes with an active account will therefore have the responsibility to delete data as and when required. If you have an active user account with a service or online platform operated by Streamline Athletes, we will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with services. If your Streamline Athletes user account is terminated or expires, all Personal Information we collected through our engagement with you will be deleted, as required by applicable law.

Children’s privacy

Protecting the privacy of children is especially important. As such, Streamline Athletes does not knowingly collect or solicit Personal Information from children without parental or guardian consent. Managing your Personal Information

You may access your Personal Information by signing into your Streamline Athletes account and visiting your profile. From your profile, you may review, edit, delete, and add information. If you do not maintain a current User account with us, you may contact us at support@streamlineathletes.com to inquire about your Personal Information. Streamline Athletes may wish to confirm your identity before proceeding with your request and may deny your request if required or authorized to do so by applicable law. If a request for access is denied, Streamline Athletes will provide an explanation of the reasons for the refusal. If the request is accepted, we will acknowledge your request within seventy-two (72) hours and subsequently inform you whether or not we are holding your Personal Information, and provide any details about your Personal Information relative to your inquiry. As per GDPR, if you are a resident of the EEA or EU, you may request that we rectify or delete your Personal Information on the basis that it is not accurate. Additionally, you have the right to object against the processing based on our legitimate interests as a legal basis. We are required to assess and act on your request.
